The team at the ‘Department for Diagnostics of potentially hazardous objects through destructive and non-destructive methods’ at Azerbaijan State Scientific-Research Institute of Labour Protection and Safety Engineering performs pressure testing of hoisting devices and equipment, tanks, lifting cranes, and attractions in parks.
Attractions must be regularly inspected to provide safety during operation. The metal structures of attractions, moving mechanisms, passenger boarding and disembarking platforms, seats, safety belts and their attachment mechanisms are tested during these inspections.
Accordingly, the institute staff diagnosed the ‘Korsan’ attraction located in Narimanov Park on 12 October 2022.
