Hikmat Gurbanov, Head of Department for Safety Problems in mechanical engineering and metal-working industry and Orkhan Manafov, technician at the department, have tested one mast (MESN-15x15 eclipse) owned by AzGerNeft LLC using a safe (non-destructive) method on 14 October 2022. The testing was done in accordance with the contract between AzDƏMTTETİ and AzGerNeft LLC.
Why is non-destructive testing important? Every object (designated for production) is subjected to regular state evaluation to identify defects and malfunctions. Safe (non-destructive) testing is carried out without stopping production, which allows to avoid financial losses during testing.
