From April 14 to 18, the State Agency for Supervision of Safe Work in Industry and Mountain-Mining Control under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, in cooperation with the State Scientific Research Institute of Labor Protection and Safety Equipment, the Ministry of Science and Education, and the "Azerbaijan Industrial Safety" Public Union (AISA), organized educational training sessions in a number of general education institutions located in the liberated territories, within the framework of the "Safe School" social project.
As part of this project, which has been implemented by the Institute for nearly three years, training sessions were conducted at the Talish village secondary school in the Aghdara district, Secondary School No. 4 in the city of Khankendi, Secondary School No. 1 in the city of Khojaly, Secondary School No. 1 in the city of Shusha, and Secondary School No. 2 in the city of Lachin.
The aim of the project is to cultivate a culture of safety among schoolchildren, instill correct behavior habits during emergencies, and enhance their preparedness against risks. The trainings involved students, teachers, and school management.
Prior to the events, the graves of martyrs on the liberated lands were visited, and respects were paid to those who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland.
During the theoretical part of the training, specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided information to students about gas and electrical safety, fire safety measures, mine threat protection, and basic first aid.
In the practical part, a simulated emergency incident was carried out, during which students were evacuated, first aid was provided, and the "consequences" were eliminated. This stage strengthened teamwork skills and emergency preparedness among the children.
At the end of the training sessions, letters of appreciation and certificates were awarded to the active students, school administrators, and teaching staff.
The "Safe School" project is not merely a set of events — it is a strategic approach aimed at protecting children's lives. Every schoolchild is a citizen of tomorrow, and every child is a bearer of a safe and healthy future.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations remains committed to continuing its systematic and consistent efforts in this direction. The goal is clear: a safe society, a safe school, a safe life.
