The article on ‘Recognition of two-dimensional binary images of objects invariant in scale and rotation’ by Gurban Mammadov Mushfig oghlu – PhD candidate, sernios researcher at AzDƏMTTETİ – has been published in Azerbaijan National Aerospace Agency news magazine (Volume 25, number 2).
The magazine is included in the list of publications recommended by the High Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The research paper was published under Information Measurement Systems section of the magazine and explores the field of Image Recognition.
The main objective of the publication is to increase the recognition accuracy invariant of rotation and scale changes of objects during the recognition of similar and close objects. Therefore, it proposes an algorithm invariant to affine object transformations. The proposed methodology can be applied in air defence system.
