Relevant structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) in order to educate schoolchildren, conduct educational classes on the rules of conduct in emergency situations.
The MES, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Department of Education for the city of Baku, since March 1, started to conduct series of trainings for the 5th, 6th, 7th grade students of schools No. 1, 8, 46, 164 located in Baku within the framework of the "Safe School" Social Project dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader.
Within the framework of the pilot project developed by the Azerbaijan State Research Institute of Occupational Health and Safety of the State Agency for Safe Work in Industry and Mining Supervision of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, students were informed about Occupational safety, the appointment of the hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations "112", the fire safety, electrical safety, gas safety rules, elevator safety rules, the impact of electric current on electrical safety, electric shock hazards that may occur at school and at home, electric shock protection measures. In conclusion, the students were provided with detailed information on first aid measures for a person struck by an electric shock.
Also, visual classes were held with the students on closed heart massage and artificial respiration using a first aid simulator.
Within the framework of the project, with the help of measuring instruments, a survey of the density of the electromagnetic field of computer equipment in the school informatics office was carried out and it was found that during the measurements, the indicators correspond to the permissible limits.
At the end of the trainings, participants were given leaflets containing information on health and environmental protection, printed materials with practical recommendations, and certificates were awarded. The school team was awarded evaluation badges for supporting the educational project.
