The State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mountain-Mining Control under the Ministry of Emergencies has organized a seminar on ‘Labour Safety – a system that protects lives and health of staff during work’ in Guzanly District in Aghdam District. The goal of the seminar was to analyse the provision of technical safety at various industrial enterprises engaged in operation of potentially hazardous objects and to take preventive measures.
The event was attended by the executives at the State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mountain-Mining Control, representatives of local executive authorities operating in the areas under the Karabakh Regional Centre of MES and entrepreneurs operating in various fields of industry.
Piri Guluzadeh, Deputy Director of the Agency, delivered the opening speech and spoke of the importance of the progressive economic policy implemented in the country under the wise leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and the special attention and care by the head of state to entrepreneurs, including businesspeople operating in various fields of industry. The deputy director emphasized the significance of ensuring technical safety in industrial enterprises and highlighted the necessity of taking preventive measures in the field.
The floor was then given to Nasib Nasibov, chief specialist at Azerbaijan State Scientific-Research Institute of Labour Protection and Safety Engineering at the Agency, who delivered the details on main directions for systematic safety investigation and provision of technical safety in industries, as well as the rules, regulations and normative-technical documents utilized in regulating technical safety in industrial fields.
Eltun Hasanov, head of inspection for safe working in chemical, petrochemical and oil-gas processing industries at the Agency, Shahin Gachabeyov, head of inspection for subsoil protection and mining control, Eldar Ahmadov, acting head of inspection for safe working in liquid and natural gas facilities, Namik Ismayilov, head of department for state registry of potentially hazardous objects, Ashir Mammadov, chief advisor and chief inspector at the Inspection for Safe Working in Boilers, Hoisting and Power plants, and other speakers raised the current problems in technical safety and voiced suggestions on preventive measures for the timely prevention of accidents.
The event attendants then exchanged views on urgent issues and answered questions.
