Scientific Research Institute under MES and NEBOSH Board Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

Azerbaijan State Scientific-Research Institute of Labour Protection and Safety Engineering at the State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mountain-Mining Control under the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AzDƏMTTETİ) and National Examination Board for Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership. The memorandum was signed by Mammad Baghir-zade, director of AzDƏMTTETİ and Christian Hopper Business Development Manager at NEBOSH for the United Kingdom and Eurasia.

The Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership has been signed between AzDƏMTTETİ and NEBOSH considering the principles of equality and mutual benefit between the two institutions and serves strengthening the potential through exchange of knowledge and experience, joint training and seminars, expanding cooperation on relevant functions. The sides have decided to establish a joint working group consisting of representatives of both institutions in order to achieve these objectives.

The sides have also discussed the organization of NEBOSH qualification trainings and examination in Azerbaijani at the signing ceremony.

Note that the National Examination Board in Occupation Safety and Health (NEBOSH) is a global examination board offering qualifications and courses in health, safety, environment and well-being management. It was founded in 1979 and has charitable status. It offers a range of qualifications and courses from introductory to professional level. Around 400,000 people worldwide hold a NEBOSH qualification.
