On February 3, 2025, a meeting was held at the State Agency for Industrial Safety and Mining Supervision of the Ministry of Emergency Situations as part of the cooperation between Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) and Sivas Cumhuriyet University (SCU) in the fields of metrology, standardization, and safety. The following topics were discussed during the meeting:

Research in earthquake and soil safety.
Collaboration in testing laboratories.
