Experts at Azerbaijan State Scientific-Research Institute of Labour Protection and Safety Engineering, Ayhan Bughdayev constructor (design specialist) at Department for Emergency Equipment Construction and Scientific-Technical Expertise, Adalat Umudov, researcher at Safety Laboratory of Lifting and Installation Works, and Zulfu Huseynov, researcher at Electrotechnical Equipment and Artificial Lighting Laboratory have conducted a visual inspection of 177 items of 55 different equipment in operation at the stationary sea platform in the Caspian Sea. The experts exchanged ideas on ensuring technical safety with specialists on drilling and operation and observed technological operations. They have also examined required for expert evaluation and taken photographs of the equipment in the working area.
The collected information will be then reviewed at Azerbaijan State Scientific-Research Institute of Labour Protection and Safety Engineering and an expert opinion will be drawn.
