WIPO, World Intellectual Property Organization, has recognized the invention authored by Gurban Mammadov, doctoral candidate and senior researcher at Azerbaijan State Scientific-Research Institute of Labour Protection and Safety Engineering. The young researcher’s invention on ‘Method for measuring density and viscosity of liquids’ has been published in the PATENTSCOPE international patent database, falling under the criteria ‘application and innovation in industry’ in measuring devices and automation. Registered as PCT/AZ2021/000002, the device can be utilized in scientific practice, while studying the physical and physio-chemical properties of liquids in chemical and other fields of industry, as well as measuring and diagnosing liquids for various purposes in medicine.
The objective of the invention is to increase accuracy while measuring the density and viscosity of liquids.
Note that it is the second international invention of the young researcher this year.
