Karamat Abdullayev, Deputy Director at Azerbaijan State Scientific-Research Institute of Labour Protection and Safety Engineering chaired a seminar on ‘Conforming projects developed for construction and installation of facilities to the requirements of safety norms and rules’ held at the institute. The speakers at the event included Nasib Nasibov, chief specialist at the institute, Samaddin Gahramanov, chief engineer, Eldar Ahmadov, acting chief of inspection for safe working at liquid and natural gas facilities, and Mohsun Shahnazarov, acting chief of inspection for safe working at main pipelines. The seminar was attended by representatives of 22 projects.
The participants of the event discussed with the project organizations the shortcomings revealed during the expert evaluation held at the institute of the projects developed for gas equipment, other communication devices and equipment for potentially hazardous objects according to the requirements of the current legislation and State Construction Norms.
After extensive discussions, the seminar ended with a detailed Q&A session.
