An awareness-raising event on technical safety has been held by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The State Agency for Safe Work in Industry and Mining Control under the Ministry of Emergency Situations held an awareness-raising event on technical safety for representatives of enterprises included in the public legal entity “Azerbaijan Transport and Communications Holding (AZCON)”.

The purpose of the event was to strengthen awareness activities aimed at ensuring compliance with technical safety requirements at state-owned enterprises under AZCON’s management, guaranteeing the safe operation of hazardous facilities, timely identification of risks in production processes, and prevention of potential accidents.

Responsible representatives of state-owned enterprises and other institutions under AZCON’s management took part in the event.

During the meeting, detailed information was provided on the requirements of regulatory legal acts in the field of technical safety, state registration of hazardous facilities, operation permits, technical inspection and expert examination procedures, as well as issues related to the training of responsible personnel and staff. It was noted that the safe operation of lifting equipment, elevators and escalators, pressure-operated equipment, gas facilities, and other hazardous installations in accordance with legal requirements is of particular importance. The significance of preventive measures aimed at preventing accidents and incidents was also emphasized.

At the event, where a detailed exchange of views was held on relevant topics, questions of interest to the participants were answered.
