A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the Ministry of Emergency Situations — the Azerbaijan State Scientific Research Institute of Labor Protection and Safety Engineering (AzDEMTTETI) and the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).
The purpose of signing the memorandum is to develop university-business cooperation in line with the demands of science, education, and the labor market.
Signed with the participation of AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev and AzDEMTTETI Director Mammad Bagir-zade, the memorandum will enable cooperation in personnel training in the fields of industry and safety, joint research, advanced training courses, organization of internships and scientific research practices, as well as the implementation of innovative projects.
According to the document, AzTU students and graduate students will be able to undergo internships at AzDEMTTETI, and joint seminars and training sessions will be organized. Within the framework of the partnership, information exchange, the creation of a joint working group, and mutual consultations will also be carried out.
